Giorgos Alkaios released his last album “MOSAIC”, after 11 years of absence. “MOSAIC” is a mosaic as the word meaning, that has been created by 42 musicians, technicals, vocals from all over the world via internet. A mosaic from different kinds of music, with music elements from 80’s until today, so that everyone can choose whatever sound they like and be a part of this mosaic.

“MOSAIC” is one of the three albums of the project PROMNESIA and its been released in all platforms of the internet. The music is signed by Giorgos Alkaios, and in the lyrics, he once again meets Niki Spyropoulou with Evi Zevgara join in the team.

Giorgos Alkaios releases his second album “My Utopia” for 2021.”My Utopia” is an instrumental album based on the frequency of 432Hz and on the theory of Nikola Tesla. The 432Hz frequency existed before World War II and is considered to have beneficial and therapeutic energy.

The “My Utopia” album also uses the 8D technology which can be only listen through headsets. “My Utopia” is the second album of the project PROMNESIA.

Giorgos Alkaios presents his new song titled “Mia Psihi”. The music of the song is signed by Giorgos Alkaios along with Nikos Tasiopoulos, and lyrics by Stavros Zacharias. The song “Mia Psihi” is the third single from Giorgo’s new songs from UTOPIA+ and Lazos Ioannidis puts his “distinguished mark” by playing the lyre. 7 years after performing in Eurovision in Oslo, Norway, the two artists are working together again. This time their collaboration was via internet as Lazos is now permanently in Canada and George is in Milos. Recordings were made in real time via internet.

What’s surprising is that for the first time Giorgos creates through image. During the last years being in Milos, he has been involved in film music, sound design, script writing, directing, and editing. In the video clip “Mia Psihi” the unique artist puts us in “his own world” and takes us – through virtual reality – to the soul, in the most subversive way.

“Ta magika sou hilia”, the song of Giorgos Alkaios with lyrics by Demosthenes A. and music by Giorgos Alkaios, which was released a while ago and is already playing in all radios in Greece, has been visualized. Giorgos, has innovated several times in the past throughout his music career, not only musically but also through his video clips. ” Hiropedes”, ” Sighorese Me “, “Simadi” were some of those songs which changed the mentality of video clips that were established in that time. With his return, Giorgos Alkaios innovates again and breaks the data in the field of music once again.

A few words about the clip

The video clip of the song “Ta magika sou hilia” produced by Utopia +, which also bears the signature of Chris Tsoukalas of Basement sounds studio productions, subverts the existing data regarding the visualization of the song. For the first time in Greece, a video clip goes beyond the existing time limits and enters the cinematic category. A story that cannot be limited in 3 minutes of the visualized songs as its duration reaches 9 minutes. The premise of the video clip is about the isolation of people through technology, the lack of communication and long-distance love. The sensational narration of Elda Panopoulou both at the beginning of the clip and at the end, in scripts by Cassiani Karagioule, gives another dimension in the transition of the song to the screen. Elda, reverses every expectation. The interpretation of the actress gives the real meaning of the story of the video clip “Ta magika sou hilia”.

The peculiarity of the clip and the protagonists

The peculiarity of the video clip “Ta magika sou hilia” is the absence of Giorgos Alkaios. Giorgos is there through his music and voice guiding the performances of the actors. Angelos Delikaris, Despina Sakki, Tassos Perakis, Eleftheria Kontogeorgi, Giannis Apergis and Maria Kolovou are the protagonists of the clip and graduates – students of the Higher Drama School “Melissa” of Elda Panopoulou.
